Hey, I’m Erin, a seasoned doula with almost a decade of experience in birth work and countless families supported, and I want to help you realize that your passion for birth really can be a sustainable business.
I am head over heels in love with celebrating my community of clients, families and professionals. Being able to empower, celebrate and hold space for women in such a sacred time in their life is an honor that I never take for granted. And, we need MORE birth professionals to rise up in their passion for this very work.
When I started my doula business, I was working a 9-5 for a national high school sports organization, and working to build my business during any moment of "free time" I could find. Mingling and meeting other professionals at any evening time networking event I could find, enrolling in classes and coaching programs, all while meeting with and supporting my clients before, during and after birth.
After 5 years of living the corporate life and being on-call as a doula, we welcomed our son, Cooper, into the world. After gaining my favorite title of all, becoming a mama gave me the final nudge I needed to take the leap of faith from 9-5 and become a full-time Doulapreneur! The happy ending to my story is that I haven’t looked back since.
For more than six years now, I’ve built a sustainable birth business that supports the life I adore, primarily serving mamas that desire to have their baby in a hospital setting, but don’t want to conform to the “one-size-fits-all” model of medical maternity care.
I definitely wouldn’t have made it to where I’m at today without my own amazing support system. With that in mind, I totally understand the importance (and sometimes hesitance) of asking for help.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck, unclear, overwhelmed, and all-around frustrated by running a business all you really want to do is you do best - support families at such a sacred, transitional time in their life!
