Hey, I’m Erin, a seasoned doula with over 7 years in birth work and 50+ families supported, and I love collaborating with and celebrating my community of clients, families and professionals.
Being able to empower, celebrate and hold space for women in such a sacred time in their life is an honor that I never take for granted. And, supporting other birth professionals to rise up in their passion for this very work is just one of many cherries on top of what I get to do every day.
One of my proudest accomplishments is the publication of my book, "My Empowered Pregnancy Guide." This Guide is the result of countless hours of research, education, and experience gained from my commitment to helping families feel confident and informed when delivering their babies in a hospital setting.
Specializing in Hospital-Based Birth Support has become a niche of passion that I particularly enjoy. Unintentionally, the majority of my work has been focused on hospital-based birth support, and I'm dedicated to ensuring that every family's birth experience is as positive as possible. I've had the privilege of working with countless families, doctors, midwives, and nurses to make this specialty a reality, and has provided me a unique opportunity to teach and mentor other doulas who support families in hospital settings.
Over the years, I have discovered that my true passion is in teaching. Whether it's educating new and expecting parents, mentoring other doulas, or collaborating with hospital staff and other birth professionals, the joy of education and empowerment fuels my commitment to this field.
Mentoring and supporting new doulas has been incredibly rewarding. As a mentor, I am committed to helping new doulas find their footing and thrive in this beautiful journey of childbirth support. I've loved having the opportunity to mentor aspiring birth professionals, guiding them on their path to becoming skilled and compassionate doulas. Together, we're making a positive impact on the world of childbirth.
